Tickets Now Available for the HPS Centenary Celebration Ride at Balmoral
The Highland Pony Society and The British Horse Society (Scotland) are honoured to run a fundraising ride as part of the Highland Pony Society Centenary Celebrations at Balmoral Estate on 27 May 2023. Money raised will be split equally between the two charities. We are privileged to be allowed on brand new routes through the 300-year-old pine forest, exploring some of the best vistas on The Royal Estate. There are three routes to choose from: 5km – Cairns and Obelisks A lovely 5km circuit taking in amazing views of Balmoral Estate and Castle with lots of interesting monuments en route. 11km – River Dee and the Woods of Garmaddie Ride on great tracks that are suitable…

The HPS Stud Book is a must for all those interested in the Highland pony breed in any way. It provides an invaluable source of material including: the current Council Judges’ Lists prefixes foals registered in 2022 all transfers of ownership in 2022 members all the recommendations and explanations of the work undertaken by the Society a summary of the year's activities.

Tickets Now on Sale for the Centenary Ball at Blair Castle!
As part of the HPS Centenary celebrations, we are delighted that the Highland Pony Society will be holding an extra special Ball in the Ballroom at Blair Castle on Saturday 18 November 2023 from 7.00pm to 12.30hrs. There are only 200 places available so it would be advisable to buy your tickets early. The cost is just £55 per ticket - a real bargain! Tam o’ Shanter comes to the Highland Show!
Highland Pony Society Centenary Celebrations 2023 As many of you will have heard, 2023 is the Centenary of the Highland Pony Society. We are planning on celebrating this in a variety of ways north and south of the border. One of the activities will be a display at the Royal Highland Show in June and possibly other shows. To make this a success and hopefully an event that will go down in Highland pony history, we need help from members, both with ponies and on the ground.
