How to Become a Highland Pony Judge

The Highland Pony Society values the work of all Highland pony judges who travel the length and breadth of the country, and overseas too, to judge ponies in a huge variety of classes. The commitment they show to the breed is enormous and they are much respected and appreciated.

New judges for In Hand, Ridden, Working Hunter classes etc are welcome and Assessments are held whenever there are enough applicants to warrant the organisation of an Assessment Day.

All applicants must have been continuous members of the Society for 5 years or more. Application forms and additional information are given below.
