2022 Performance Award Card Holders - Save the Date! The awards evening will be held on Tuesday 31 January at 7pm on the Zoom platform. Entries are invited for the Highland Pony Society’s annual stock judging event, to be held during the Royal Highland Show on Friday 24 June 2022 at approximately 3pm in the cattle rings between the Highland Hall and the main arena. Participating in this is educational and allows competitors to compare their reasons for placing ponies with those of an experienced judge. If you would like to know more about judging Highland ponies, you are very welcome to take part. The Rare Breeds Survival Trust  is asking for your help to collect data on breeding populations and reproduction within Watchlist equines, including Highland ponies. The aim of this section of the project is to collect information on mares attempting to breed in the current year. The information they are seeking is the age, whether it was AI or natural service, the mare’s breeding history, the stallion used and how many cycles were required before a pregnancy was achieved.
