Entries Invited for the Stock Judging Competition 2022
Judging Through the Eyes of the In Hand Highland Pony Judge!
Entries are invited for the Highland Pony Society’s annual stock judging event, to be held during the Royal Highland Show on Friday 24 June 2022 at approximately 3pm in the cattle rings between the Highland Hall and the main arena. Participating in this is educational and allows competitors to compare their reasons for placing ponies with those of an experienced judge.
If you would like to know more about judging Highland ponies, you are very welcome to take part. Teams of three will use their stocksmanship and knowledge to judge two teams of four Highland ponies - youngstock and mature. Whether you are a current probationer, considering applying or just want to enjoy the experience and broaden your knowldge, you will be very welcome to participate. You don't need to find a team, as single people will be very welcome and will be put into teams of three.
It's really educational and entertaining and there is no charge for entry! There will be rosettes for all entered and a very smart trophy to be won.
