Breeders! Help Needed for RBST Equine Conservation Project

RBST Equine Project

The Rare Breeds Survival Trust  is asking for your help to collect data on breeding populations and reproduction within Watchlist equines, including Highland ponies.

The aim of this section of the project is to collect information on mares attempting to breed in the current year. The information they are seeking is the age, whether it was AI or natural service, the mare’s breeding history, the stallion used and how many cycles were required before a pregnancy was achieved.

Here is a link to further information and to the survey itself: https://www.rbst.org.uk/blog/equine-conservation-project-reproduction-survey

The spreadsheet has two pages - one for the actual survey and one for the notes.

If you have any questons about any of this, please phone Andrea Parry- Jones, RBST Conservation Officer -
