This year has been one of the most exciting and busiest the Society has seen for a long time and we are very grateful for the support and enthusiasm shown by you all throughout the Centenary celebrations and events. Tune into a a special Remembrance Sunday episode of Alan Titchmarsh Love your Weekend which will be airing on ITV between 9.30 and 11.30am this coming Sunday. The show features a Highland Pony Breed special where Alan discusses the breed and it’s versatility withour very own HPS council member Kate Hawes. The ponies featured are Whitefield Prince Valient (working pony) with Joshua Carnegie, Redcliffe Millicent (driven pony) with Richard Hardy, Glenmuir Mountain Ash (ridden pony) with Eleanor Lyttle and Glengarry of Talisker (in hand pony) with Diane.

We are delighted to announce that in addition to the Highland Pony Society Centenary Celebration Parade on Sunday evening in the Andrews Bowen International Arena at Horse of the Year Show 2023, our Immediate Past President, Sylvia Ormiston MVO has been invited to present the infamous 'Ode to the Horse' at the Grand Finale of the Show! This is a huge honour for Sylvia who is Stud Manager to His Majesty The King at Balmoral Castle and for The Highland Pony Society in their year of Centenary Celebrations.
