Entries Now Open for the Breed Show on Sunday 22 August 2021
It's back! We are delighted that the Breed Show will take place on Sunday 22 August 2021 at Strathallan Castle, Auchterarder, Perthshire. There are In Hand, Ridden, Working Hunter, Dressage, Working Harness, Young Handler and Veteran classes and it will be a splendid spectacle of lovely Highland ponies. Entries are now open and should be submitted to the Society either by email or post by Tuesday 3 August 2021

Entries are Open for the Virtual Breed Show 2021
Following the success of the Virtual Shows in 2020, the Council of the Society is delighted to be running a Virtual Show with In Hand and Ridden Classes in tandem with the physical Breed Show this year. This will give a very welcome opportunity for overseas members and those living remotely from central Scotland and also those with no transport to compete with their ponies. Exhibitors can enter a pony in the live show at Strathallan Castle and a different pony (or ponies) in the Virtual Show. Launch of the new Online Pony Registry!
The new look Grassroots Online Registry which replaces the former ‘Pedeweb’ has been launched today - Wednesday 9 June 2021. Members can mark ponies for sale and highlight stallions who offer AI. It gives access to the whole Society database and allows you to ‘Manage Your Animal Records’. The registry can be accessed via the Highland Pony Society’s website or direct at www.grassroots.co.uk/highland.html using your normal Breed Society Membership Number and password.
