Opportunity for a reliable and experienced adult (max 13.5 stone) to share a lovely highland pony for 2 days a week. More days may be available on an ad-hoc basis, as I sometimes have to travel abroad due to work.
He is very good to handle and has excellent ground manners and a sweet temperament, with the usual bit of highland pony cheek thrown in! We are in East Lothian at a lovely livery yard and he lives out year round. He has a few (managed) health concerns, so he’s only available for hacking as opposed to anything strenuous. The yard has excellent off-road hacking routes and there are usually other liveries to hack out with if you prefer company.
I am looking for a contribution of £30/week and any sharer will need their own rider insurance policy. This is a great chance for the right person to enjoy happy hacking a lovely pony for a fraction of the cost and commitment of full ownership.
