The North East of Scotland's premier Highland Pony event and will take place at the Milton Events Field, Crathes, AB31 5QH. The Milton is easily accessible on the A93 west of Aberdeen and a 10 minute drive from the Aberdeen City by-pass, only a 10 minute drive from the Aberdeen City By-Pass and is home to several shops, restaurants and the Deeside Steam Railway visitor centre.
Organised by the North East Scotland Highland Pony Enthusiasts Society (NESHPES) a local club founded in 1983 to promote the use of Scotland's Native Breed, we host 19 classes for In Hand and Ridden Ponies and are delighted to be awarded a Highland Pony Society Bronze Medal to be awarded for the In Hand Champion pony (must be a HPS Member).
There is also an opportunity to compete in M&M Classes in the Equine Grass Sickness Show, Horse and Dog show which is held on the same day.
This year will see Highlands going through their paces in In Hand and Ridden classes with over 20 classes to compete in.
