11yr old bay dun highland gelding 14.1hh approx. Well bred pony from the renowned Lochlands Stud.
Well-schooled with rhythmical paces, has competed British Dressage this past year and was 3rd Prelim Summer 2025 Area Festivals, and sold with Winter 2026 Area Festival Qualification at Prelim level, ready to go out at novice, always receives positive feed back from the judges for his harmonious way of going and uphill canter.
Has been successfully shown in hand and under saddle. Regularly used for Pony Club Care training and lunging tests.
Loves to hack – happy in open spaces, farm, fields, local forestry and shepherding, not seen a lot of traffic so lacks some confidence but fine with company.
Previously tested as a precaution and is managed as an EMS pony but easily and well controlled with soaked hay and exercise. Would suit a track system or yard with suitable turnout.
Easy to take out and about, travels lorry or trailer, good shoe and clip, up to date with teeth and vaccines.
Sad sale of our much-loved family pony, but a lack of time due to a demanding job. We are looking for a genuine family home where he can have a varied ridden life with lots of hacking and with suitable turnout.
