“Buie” is a fantastic stamp of a Highland Pony – he oozes the traditional pony characteristics associated with the breed, coupled with a unique athleticism that sees him compete in open working hunter pony classes, and he events up to BE80.
He has a flurry of lovely youngstock coming through and is a proven working stallion with excellent motility.
He has a lovely pony head, a strong short coupled frame with a fabulous shoulder and matching hind quarters, and quality flat bone. Buie has a nice quiet nature and is regularly admired in all of his endeavours.
He consistently jumps double clears in his British Eventing classes, and he qualified for the Grassroots BE80 National Final in 2025. He has previously qualified for the RIHS 143cm M&M WHP 2024 final, and he has an exemplary record under saddle winning at Championship Shows and being placed at the Royal Highland Show.
Buie gained both his British Dressage Winter and Summer Area Festival Championship tickets in 2025, with competitive percentages in all of his tests, and at our local Area Festivals. He has also qualified for the 2026 Winter Championships.
Buie is available to a limited number of mares for fresh and chilled Al services In 2026.
