Membership Subscription Increase

Your Membership Subscription is increasing

Membership subscriptions are increasing with effect from 1^st January 2026. Necessitated by ever increasing costs this increase was approved by members at the 2025 AGM. Both annual and life memberships will increase. It has been necessary to introduce increased rates for our members overseas. These higher rates are driven by the cost of postage to Europe and the rest of the world. Junior membership will remain at £5. The new rates are noted below.

For many of you who pay via Standing Order we need your help. It will be necessary to put a new standing order in place.  Please cancel the existing Standing order with your bank and set up a new standing order. The new standing order may be set up easily if you use internet banking – you should be able to organise this via your bank’s app or online system. Please do make sure you use a clear reference when setting up the new standing order as we are not always able to see the name of the account from which a payment comes. Please use your surname, initials & postcode as a reference. Alternatively, you may download a standing order from our website via the link below, fully complete this and send to the HPS Office. We shall note this here and submit to your bank to register.

If you pay manually each year subscription will be due on 1^st January 2026 and payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer (RBS Sort Code: 834700 Account No:00177837) or via the website.
