SOLD – Strathmore Casper
Description
13.3hh, four year old yellow dun.
Caspar is a lovable character. He’s been lightly broken and lightly hacked and is as safe as houses. He even crosses the motorway bridge. He’s been regularly hacked up the main road on his own with tractors, lorries etc
He has been so safe and trustworthy that my autistic son has been having lessons on him which both my son and Caspar love.
He’s been brought on professionally three times a week and it shows.
Caspar can be pushy on the ground if you let him get away with it – especially in if there’s a bucket in the vicinity!
He has been trained to “Target” when you approach his stable with a feed you say “Target” and he goes to the back of his stable and waits until you place his feed then you clap your hands and he comes. He’s such a clever pony and loves to learn.
He will fall asleep when you clip him. I haven’t found anything that fazes him at all.
He has 9 inches of bone at the moment and is very well built. He’s still “bum high”.
He has learned to yield off the leg and is a joy to ride. He has the potential to be a dressage star as he is very light on the forehand for such a well built Highland. He has wonderful conformation too.
Somebody will be very lucky to own this lovely boy but I have a balance problem and I’m continuing with showing miniature horses. I have many many videos of Caspar in all sorts of situations from motorway bridges to indoor school and walking up main Roads on WhatsApp.
He’s open to a full vetting. H e has no lumps or bumps.
He’s just wonderful inside and out!
No nervous or novices please due to his age.
