Extremely sad sale of my lovely 4 year old pony Bill. Bill just hasn’t made the height for tall (or rather large bodied) me!
Bill has an amazing laid back temperament. He loves company whether the family, the horses he shares with and or the sheep. Always good to catch , sensible for the farrier, easy to box and travel and bath.
Lightly shown in 2022 with great success with a win at New Deer Agricultural Show and winning in hand class and Reserve Champion Highland Pony at Turriff Show 2022. The Judge commented on the quality of Bill’s movement. Bill qualified for Blair International Horse Show 2022 and NPS In Hand. The plan was for a dressage and in-saddle future so he was not put forward for the in-hand qualifiers after having done so well at Turriff. Bill was happy to stand in pen at shows and was not at all concerned by the atmosphere of agricultural shows.
Bill was broken in 2022. He has been long reined, seen country traffic and hacked very lightly on the moor which borders his home. Bill was then turned away for the winter and has wintered well.
Bill has a willing trainable attitude, quality and super movement. Bill is now ready to be produced for ridden showing classes.
Equally, Bill could easily become someone’s best friend / leisure horse of a lifetime / mother daughter share. I had great plans for Trec as nothing phases this boy.
