Alder was born at the stud in a farm environment so is used to the usual machinery and dogs. Standing at 14HH, she has excellent conformation but has never been shown or bred from.
She winters out with access to an open fronted field shelter, has never been sick or sorry and is good with vet and farrier. Her pedigree is strong in ‘dene’ lines and as such she would be an asset to any stud. She has not been bred from or shown due to the owner’s age.
Alder is a very sweet mare who has never kicked or bitten but she is not a novice ride and would benefit from an experienced and sympathetic rider. Her last rider was an inexperienced 16 year old girl. Alder is forward going and fun but does not suffer fools gladly and easily becomes bored with repetitive schooling. Alder was turned away last winter and would need to be brought back into work. Plenty of photos and videos.
Price is negotiable, as home is more important than money.
Prospective homes will be carefully vetted as Alder is a favorite.
