Glenbanchor Muck

Description

Beautiful Grey 8 year old registered highland gelding. 14 hands.

Top blood lines, true to type and a good example of the breed.

Behaves equally well if ridden regularly or left for month or so, never spooky – fantastic movement, giving a light and fun ride, loves people.

Good in big open spaces. Lovely soft mouth (snaffle). Pops over small jumps.

Lightly shown in only two events:-

–  2nd in Area dressage champs, British Riding club

– 1st in NPS Cromwell Picton class at Diptford Horse Show

Good to shoe, load in lorry, clip. Super clean in stable. Fully vaccinated and up to date with worming management and teeth.

Hacks out alone or in company. Would benefit from further training on the roads(big lorries/loud motorcycles).

Strictly no novices as like most highlands he can be strong on the ground.

Only for sale due to owners failing health and he is too young and bright to be left as a field ornament.

Has had laminitis in the past but is currently easily managed on daily turnout without the need for a muzzle. He has been X-rayed showing no damage to hoof structure and blood tests in April confirmed that a reoccurrence of laminitis is unlikely.
