Description

Buzz is a 13.3hh, 14 year old stallion (Lochlands Cello X Whitefield Lord Anthem).

Buzz has successfully competed under saddle/inhand and dressage and now, post Covid, has a quieter life just hacking. Buzz is bombproof out hacking which he will happily do alone or in company. He is by far the easiest stallion with impeccable manners. He lives out with geldings and relishes the company. Buzz hasn’t serviced mares for approx 8 years while he focused on his ridden career. He has good stock on the ground and produces level headed strong boned ponies. He has previously covered in hand but may adapt to running with mares.

This is a very difficult sale and not one I anticipated having to make. I am looking for a particular home for him; a breeding/hacking home. He may be happy to do the occasional dressage test but he has done his time competing and deserves a quieter life.  In the last two years, he has developed a seasonal itch and does require a rug in the summer to manage this, albeit this may improve in an area with less midges than I have.
