Sold – Erin of Park View

Description

Sire: Moss-Side Quince

Dam: Becky of Park View

10 year old registered Highland Mare

Full up 14.2hands

This is a very sad sale.

We have had Erin for five years and we love her very much but she isn’t doing enough with us.  We would like to find her a home where she is either ridden or has a role as a brood mare.

Erin enjoys life.  She adores attention and is very loving.

She is good having her feet trimmed, she is good to clip and load. Erin is also up to date with her vaccinations and has had her teeth done this year.

Erin enjoys being ridden, we hack her for hours and both my husband, my daughter age 13 and I ride her.  She is more confident in a group but is ok on her own too.  She isn’t a novice ride but she has never done anything nasty.  She just lacks confidence and might stop to look at something.

Erin does not enjoy being in a stable, she is best worked from the field. She is always turned out in a herd, she is good with both geldings and mares.

We took her to the Highland Pony Centenary Show last year and she held her own in the Brood mare class to come 6th out of 20.

Erin enjoyed being a Mum, she had a filly foal in 2022. She foaled easily and was an excellent mother.  Ideally, I think she would like to have more foals.

Erin needs to go to an experienced home. Whilst she is a pony, she has spirit, and she needs to know who is in charge.

8K (but home is most important)
