Sonik is a 6yr old grey dun with black points. (Sometimes he looks almost cream dun!)

By Dubhadh Rioghal of Glenbuckie  (Maverickdene/Ribhan of Ishag) out of Miss Marple of Karunda  (Clandon Moriarti/Brodach Easter Lady)

Sonik has been allowed time to mature and I now feel he is ready to go to his potential show home.  Handled since birth he is a very straight forward gelding...he has lived both out and in so is used to a stable and has lived in a mixed herd so is fine with both mares  and geldings.  Broken the traditional way he has been worked in long lines for six months prior to his ridden work, so potentially he has had all the grounding if someone wished to drive long lines he was happy to go out on his own and down to our local village half a mile from home. He would stop and chat to walkers and readily work forward when asked to. He has been good in traffic and is fed by tractors during the winter so is well used to farm machinery.

His backing took place in a stable and then he progressed to the school where he soon established forward paces.  He walks trots and canters well on both reins.  He is ridden in an ordinary double jointed mouth piece.  He is just starting pole work and seems to be enjoying this.  He hacks out on his own and in company. He is always interested in where he goes. He is comfortable to ride and has just had a small clip done recently to help keep him cool while working. This week he has had his second rider ever and went sweetly.

Sonik has always been barefoot and is fine he has good horn on his feet..he has been on a regular worming program since birth and has just had his annual worm dose for encysted reds......he is not vaccinated and has not traveled yet but we are now starting to learn about loading ready for whoever will buy him.  Sonik is not a first pony as he is still in education himself and though he is quiet and straight forward I would hate for him not to finish his education.  His older sister is also here and can be seen. She has taken championships in hand and is working as a ridden Highland soon to be brought out under saddle.

I believe he is in full health and he is open to any vetting required.
