Patron
We are extremely fortunate and privileged to have as our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen. Her Majesty has one of the biggest (if not the largest) working studs of Highland ponies, and during the season, over twenty ponies are regularly on the hill, carrying grouse, deer, people and lunch, and that is apart from the trekking and driving enterprise at Balmoral Castle. And with two stallions (Balmoral Dee and Balmoral Moss) and a broad-based line of mares, the Balmoral Stud goes from strength to strength.
